Three world religions claim they have Holy Scriptures. They are (in chronological order) Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Inspired Scripture, when written/printed, can be referred to, read and reread, critiqued. Because it is Holy, it is authoritative and dominant as the basic guide for adherents of that religion. Notice that Scripture is presented in symbols of antiquity (scrolls) as well as of the present (a bound book). There are numerous symbols in this window which speak of Sacred Writings, vital to people of long ago and just as important to us in modern times. We are People Of The Book.
