This is the other Sacrament instituted by our Lord Himself. It's called
The Holy Communion, The Holy Eucharist, The Mass, the Lord's Supper,
The Divine Liturgy. Whatever label is given, it's our Lord's participating
in us and we in Him. The Table sets forth the Spiritual Food by which
we are fed. The Altar recalls the Sacrifice Jesus made of Himself. The
four actions - Offer, Bless, Break, Share, are shown; they are the four
actions (always and everywhere) done whenever Christians gather and
celebrate this Liturgy. In the lower right corner is the Lamb of God
in Victory, a chief signal given out every time we share the Body and
Blood of our Risen Lord. There are other symbols including Bread and
Wine. This window is placed directly across from the Baptism Window
to have these two Sacraments close to the chancel and Altar where Baptism
and Communion are celebrated. Baptism is "once only," and
Holy Communion is "again and again." Given By The Robert Duffy and Dwight Feemster Families |
